Intent bridges (Across v3, deBridge DLN) work via solver auctions: the user signs a firm-quote intent, a relayer or solver fronts liquidity on the destination chain, and settlement happens later from the source. This produces the fastest UX in cross-chain bridging and has become the dominant new-bridge primitive since 2024.
